The Beginning
I have just recently started working at the Disney Store, and it has made me realize just how much Disney is a part of our lives. Everyday when I walk into the store I see people of all ages, and everyone, especially the children, seem to just light up when they enter the magical place that Disney tries to create for each and every guest. My favorite part of working for this Disney Store is seeing all of the children's faces light up and their reactions to the multitude of toys we have for them. For example, the other day I was at work and a little girl no more than three years old came up to the counter with her mother holding an Aurora doll that she was going to get. I looked directly at the girl and started to talk about her favorite princess, Aurora, and she had a smile that went ear to ear. As her mother was paying I took the bag and gave it to that little girl. As she grabbed it I said, "here you go princess, I know that you will enjoy your new friend!" Her smile seemed to grow even more especially when I said, "have a magical day princess!" Her and her mother turned and walked away from the register. I noticed that they paused; the little girl looked at her mother, and with such enthusiasm and excitement said to her mother, "she called me a princess!" They walked out of the store after that, and it made me realize that I helped make that child's day a magical one. I have also realized that Disney is a magical experience for each and every little princess and every cowboy that walks into the store.
